About OnSpecial

OnSpecial is a community guide to what's on today, starting with Regina, Saskatchewan. Find food and drink specials, happy hours, recurring nights and dated shows, with the times and prices we know.

Who's behind it

The OnSpecial team maintains the app, its guides and its website research. Local people contribute listings and confirm what they've seen, and venue owners can claim their pages and keep their own listings up to date.

Where the listings come from

We read specials from venues' own websites and events from venues' calendars or the organizers' own published schedules. People and venues can also post directly. A listing's source line says where it came from; a website check records when we read that source, rather than claiming someone visited in person.

Our guides are credited to OnSpecial and show when they were last reviewed. Their lists use the same venue and listing data as the rest of the app.

Specials change, and a published schedule can change too. We can miss a change or get something wrong. Check with the venue before you go, especially when a price, start time or admission rule matters to your plans.

Something wrong?

Use “Not right?” on the listing to report or suggest a correction. Only confirm a listing when you've checked it yourself. Read how OnSpecial works for the rules behind confirms, corrections and points.

Own or manage a venue? Open your venue's page and choose “Own this venue? Claim it”. Once your claim is approved, you can manage its listings as the venue.
